I am young, "normal" and I like to write. People say I eat too much, people don't know what they are saying.

You Learn

First, you wait and you hope and you wish, you even dream.

Eventually though, you learn to zip your own dress or knot your own tie. You learn to assess your own makeup, you learn to match the right shoes with the right outfit. You learn to cook for yourself alone and you learn to take decisions alone. You learn to enjoy walks alone, you learn to make plans for yourself alone. You learn to buy your own sweatshirts and you learn to buy your own cologne. You learn to watch movies alone and you learn to sleep in the middle of the bed. You learn to cry alone and you learn to give yourself pep talks. You learn to explain things to yourself and you learn to embrace google.

You don't forget, you don't stop longing, but you learn, and you continue to live.

And contrary to myths, you never really get over it, not until you find those warm moments with someone else. You just continue to learn
